REGISTRATION
A Late Fee of $200.00 is now in effect for all previously registered players. New Registrants are not required to pay the late fee. We have a very flexible payment plan to offer. Registration will take place at the MHMHA office located in the Hockey Hounds Arena for Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The address is 39 – 10th St.NE. Costs are as follows:

New for this season is Online Registration. Click here for detailed instructions. Keep in mind, if you register online with a credit card, the fees must be paid in full. If you choose to mail us post-dated cheques, your registration is not completed until they are receivedby the office.
Payment Plan - $100.00 down with the balance due by Oct 31st,2010. Post-dated cheques must be submitted upon registering, and be dated for either the 30th or the 31st of each month. We also offer Visa, MasterCard and Debit. Families registering three or more children will be offered a $75.00 discount. New players will require a birth certificate as well as their Alberta Health Care number.

DISCOUNT CARDS
The discount cards are our fundraiser. This season they are more family friendly. These can be sold for $20.00 each, giving members an opportunity to earn the value of the cards back (minimum 5 cards perhousehold).

LATE FEES
Starting July 1st, 2010, there will be a late fee of $200.00 added to your registration for those previously registered members. This should not be an issue with online registration available. Please keep in mind, we do not want your money – we start planning for the upcoming season in May, and it makes it difficult to plan if we do not know our registered numbers. Fees are not due in full until October 31st, 2010; therefore there should be no financial hardship. If you are unsure that your child will play next year, please register anyhow and postdate your payment until the deadline date.
RESPECT IN SPORT – MANDATORY FOR THE 2010-2011 SEASON
The Respect in Sport Parent Program is an effective and informative online training program for parents. This one hour online certification program reinforces a parents role in their child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviours and providing insight to the various roles that other individuals (such as coaches and officials) play. This program empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children and encourages positive andeffective communication. One member of each family must take this online training program by October 31st, 2010, or their child will not be allowed to continue in their hockey program. Visit www.hockeyalberta.ca and click on the Respect in Sport ad. The cost is $12.00 plus tax and once completed you will receive a certificate. The MHMHA Board of Directors have made this program mandatory, rather than increase registration fees for the season.

CHECKING CLINIC
We will be offering a Peewee checking/conditioning clinic. Cost of the camp will be $75.00. Please call the office to register.
REP TRYOUTS
Rep hockey starts at the Peewee level with two “AA” and one “A”team. There is a $75.00 tryout fee if you are interested. Players will be allowed to register at whatever level they chose. Midget 15’s will be allowed to tryout at the Midget AA level. We want your child to play in an environment where they can have some success. There are additional costs each month to participate on a Rep hockey team. The costs will range from $300.00 - $450.00.
REFEREES
MHMHA would like to invite interested parents and players in becoming involved in our referee program. Certification costs will be covered by MHMHA for the members of the association. Dates will be announced at a future time. Participants must be at least 12 years old to take part in this program.
